Before you share your story..

let me tell you mine..

My name is Milagros (Miracle in spanish - aka Millie) and I am a NICU nurse. I first discovered my love for photography when I was fifteen years old and have been building on that knowledge and passion ever since. I absolutely enjoy the most taking pictures of babies. One of my hobbies is playing the piano and composing music.

I’m quite down to earth and enjoy hiking and traveling. One of the things I can say proudly is that I have been called the baby whisperer.

my story

When I was 10 years old..

My appendix ruptured, I became septic and eventually developed peritonitis. My body was full of infection. After 8 surgeries, 6 months at the hospital, and numerous medical teams telling me I should not be alive and would not survive; I lived. I fought hard and knew I had a purpose in this life....

Fast foward...

I thought I wanted to be a doctor...

Instead my calling was to be a nurse. Pediatrics always had my heart and so I started there. But the pandemic hit and after 6 months of hard work on the front lines I decided that my calling had more plans; babies!

So my journey began...

The NICU!

I fell in love! Working with babies and just having this calming effect with babies and loving what I do every single day...full filled my heart. I knew this is why I survived.

But It did not end there...

Burnout..is real!

I transitioned into the cardiac NICU and after almost 2 years, I felt the burnout. That is when I went back to something I use to love as a teen, photography! The love I have for both babies and photography merged. Thus now - newborn photography is my new passion.

I am a true Miracle, allow me to share my gifts to capture beautiful memories of your tiny miracles...
